St. Finians GAA wish to express it's condolences to Liams wife Rose, daughters Eilis, Mairead, Orla and Aine, sons Michael and Eamonn on the passing of Liam.

" Liam was a huge part of the St.Finians Gaa fabric and the community as a whole as was his wife Rose and all their children. As a proud Kilkenny man he was instrumental in the foundation and setting up of our Camogie section as well as coaching & managing alongside Rose.He gave an outlet in sport in Rivervalley for girls when there was little or no options and his daughters Orla & Aine donned the St.Finians Gaa Camogie colours under his tutelage. Eamon, too, playing for numerous teams over the years. Liam served as club secretary and go to quizmaster for many of our fundraising events. He was involved in the setting up and building of the Rivervalley Community Centre, an outlet for everyone in the community, and it was  there on many evenings he could be found entertaining everyone on the fiddle. His love of music was known far and wide. In later years, his positivity and resilience in overcoming a serious accident was truly inspirational for everyone who came in contact with him regularly on his bike, always stopping to talk and chat. Liam will not only be a huge loss for his family and friends but to the community as a whole. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
