On Saturday, 9th August, our G4M&O squad headed to Erin’s Isle GAA for one of our favourite annual events in the calendar – and it didn’t disappoint! 💚💛

This blitz is special, not just for the amazing cause it supports, but also for the warm welcome we always receive from our friends at Erin’s Isle. As always, it was brilliantly organised, and we want to thank everyone involved for the hard work that makes it such a fun and memorable day. 👏

St. Finian’s fielded 16 players, playing three action-packed matches throughout the day. There were fantastic skills on show, plenty of great scores, and – most importantly – superb teamwork from start to finish.

It was also the first blitz for a few of our newer players Ashling Turley, Rachel Kiely, Deirdre Ward and Sorcha Whelehan – and they absolutely rose to the occasion! A special shout-out to Ashling Turley, who was named Finian’s Player of the Tournament at her very first blitz. 🎉🙌
