St. Finians U12 girls played their first 13-a-side game up in Rivervalley and Ridgewood today. They took on St. Mary’s of Saggart and Robert Emmetts and both teams  were excellent from start to finish.

In Rivervalley St. Mary’s started strongest with some well taken scores. The St. Finians girls settled into the game and began to take control, kicking some fine scores through brilliant teamwork and support play.

At the same time up in Ridgewood our St Finians girls worked tirelessly in defence and showed great resilience, while also creating some excellent attacking moves.

Across both games, the teams played for each other in defence and attack, putting their hard work in training to great effect. Well done to all the girls on a great display of effort and teamwork.
