St Finians LGFA U14s returned to playing matches on Thursday with a trip to St Margaret’s.

A huge thanks to our hosts who organised the challenge game. Excitement was high before the game and all the players were looking forward to returning to competitive matches post-Covid lockdowns.
Both teams started lively and scores were shared evenly up to the first water break. After the water break, St Finians gained control of the game and scored some lovely goals and points, and went into the half-time break ahead. After have time and with 5 changes made the away side continued to work hard and take some lovely scores. St Margaret’s kept being competitive and scored a lovely goal but St Finians kept their composure and won the game well.
A good run out for all although the wide count was higher than the players would want and will give them something to work on.
Thanks again to St Margaret’s for hosting and we wish them all the best in the season ahead.
👏👏👏
