U14s Camogie Team

St Finians u14s Camogie team started off their league campaign on a very warm Sunday afternoon in Ridgewood.

They welcomed Lucan Sarsfield to Swords in the Division 4 fixture.

Lucan started the stronger and scored an early point and put pressure on St Finians Restarts. The home team started to take back control and created chances but were a little rusty and had 4 wides in a row. These wides pushed St Finians on and they went onto to score 4 goals before the halftime break. The second half continued like the first and St Finians imposed themselves on the game and scored some lovely goals and points. Credit to Lucan who never gave up and scored a goal and a point in the closing stages of the half. Full time in a cloudy but hot Ridgewood was 11-6 to 1-2.

A good win for the home team to take into the next league match vs Ballyboden B.

U12s Camogie Team

Our U12s Camogie team had a fantastic friendly in Malahide with Sylvesters GAA club on Saturday.

Super hurling, passing and scores from both sides on a very warm day. The girls have really come on over the last few months and a real team spirit was on show for all to see.
