St Finians u14s camogie team traveled across the Liffey to play Ballyboden B on Sunday.

After a previous win over Lucan a win would see St Finians top the group in Division 4 and help them towards promotion.

As the rain came down it didn’t stop the players playing at an impressive standard. The away team bullied their hosts and scored fantastic goals and points.

Ballyboden rallied in the second half and pushed forward but the away teams half back and full back lines were well capable of stopping the attacks. St Finians continued to attack into the wind and had a few wides and hit the crossbar twice. The scoring returned and St Finians added another 1-2 while keeping the hosts at bay.

A great win for St. Finians, well done girls.
