Final Score : Finians 1 10 Craobh 3 11

A blistering hot morning saw the resumption of AHL 5 after a good win vs Whitehall away the side were looking forward to welcoming Chiaráin to Ridgewood. Craobh hit the ground running scoring an early goal to go into the first water break 5 up a lead that ultimately Finains couldn't peg back.

Although winning the second and third quarters Craobhs third controversial goal with a few minutes left to go sealed the win. Some really positive performances from the home side but they will rue missed opportunities from open play and dead ball.

Fiachra Comber was dominant at full back and Lee Kavanagh was prominent in the middle of the park chipping in with a fine score. The half back line of Murray, Hattie and McGuirk were up against a half forward line from Craobh familiar to those who follow county teams and all excelled in some great individual battles.

Thanks to the home support; the team is building nicely and with returns from injuries to vital squad members in recent days a plus with more to come back into contention for the next game in 10 days time away to Na Fianna

👏👏👏
