St Finians U14s Camogie team played St Peregrines on Sunday in the Division 4 final.
Both teams had unbeaten runs to the final and this game would see who would become the Division 4 winners.
On a very hot day in Mulhuddard with temperatures of 25 degrees, both teams put on a spectacle of Skill, flair and courage in Camogie.
Peregrines started the game the better and went into an early lead only for St Finians to come back into the match and it was all square at half time.
The second half saw St Finians push on and go into a lead but again the home side came back into it and with 30 seconds to go the Away team was up by 1 point. With the last puck of the game Peregrines equalised and sent the match to extra time. The momentum had shifted with the late point for the home team and they went ahead by 6 points. St Finians crawled it back to 2 points but the clock was against them and Peregrines held on for the win.
A fantastic match of nearly 2 hours duration and well done to all the players involved.
👏👏👏
Final score St Peregrines 5-6 St Finians 4-7.
