St Finians Coaching Workshop Programme 2021/2022

We are delighted to announce a programme of coaching workshops to help all coaches within the club hone and develop their skills. These workshops will be run in-house and provide an excellent opportunity to meet up, chat, swop ideas and learn new skills.

Coaching Workshop 1 – CCC1 Saturday 13th Nov 2021 11:30 – 2:30 – Aisling Kane

• Warm ups
• Coaching a skill
• IDEA
• Spot & Fix (Head, Hands, Feet)
• Adapt & Modify
• New ideas/Collaboration

Coaching Workshop 2 – CCC2 Saturday 20th Nov 2021 11:30-2:30 – Aisling Kane

• GAA 15 Warm up
• S&C/Resistance training
• Game Plays
• Players – motivate, thinking for themselves
• Keeping FUN elements incorporated.

These two initial sessions will be used to determine content for follow up sessions in December and January.

These courses are open to all mentors and we would ask that you avoid scheduling games/training at these times to allow as many coaches as possible to attend.
