Our U12 Boys wrapped up the last of the league fixtures this morning, with two matches. An early start away to St. Pat's in Donabate saw a tough, dogged game, the lads started slow, but battled well. A strong second half saw St. Finian's pull away for the win, a courageous and determined performance by all the boys, with great composure shown, including some great tackling and turnovers.

A quick dash then across to St. Vincent's school in Glasnevin for the second game v Na Fianna.

This one started at a furious pace, with some great football being played by both sides. There were tight individual battles all over the field, and some of our passing and movement of the ball was excellent. St Finian's held a slender lead at half time, and as the second half started an early Na Fianna goal had the game in the balance. Again however composure was the order of the day, and the boys kicked on and finished the game strongly due a deserved victory, with some fantastic points being taken under pressure. Well done to all the boys, especially those who 'double jobbed' playing in both games.

Looking forward to a blitz next weekend to close out the season.
