The U13 Boys travelled to Porterstown for their latest grading match versus Castleknock on Saturday. A welcome return to dry ground and good weather led to perfect conditions for hurling.

A bright start from the boys saw them take control of the game early on, hurling in front and battling hard for turnovers required.  The boys hard work was to the fore, as was evident with two broken hurls by half time. 

A strong start to the second half helped the visitors withstand a third quarter rally from Castleknock, with some excellent scores, and despite tiring in the warm conditions the boys held out for an excellent win on the day.
