The U13 Boys faced Castleknock for the second week in a row as they welcomed their 2nd football team to Ridgewood on Saturday afternoon.

The visitors started strongest, finding the net early on, and that coupled with some uncharacteristic sluggishness from the home side meant the lads were trailing at half time.

However following the half time break the home side started to get the better of the contest and worked their way back into game.

Two second half goals from St. Finians swung the match in the home side's favour, and despite some nervy moments towards the end the boys held on for the win.

A tough day for the boys but one they will learn from, and they showed great heart to grind out the win. 👏👏🏐🏐
