Another mid-week league match for the U14 hurlers. This time against Craobh Chiarain Scoil Uí Chonaill in Clonsaugh. The blinding sun in the first half made it difficult for the boys to ‘pick their spot’ over the post but it didn’t stop them settling us into a nice lead with a goal and a number of points. The second half the intensity increased as the opposition fought hard to gain something on the scoreline. Our defence ensured they couldn’t get past and our mids and forward lines continued with the push for scores. By the end of the match we had sore bodies, exhausted players but a winning team very happy with their performance. 💪
