First half was a struggle out in Tallaght as marks came with a game plan to try and isolate their full forward line and Finians didn’t get up to the pace of the game. Bazzy scored a goal before half time to give Finians a 2 point lead.

Second half again Finians started slowly, conceding a goal straight away. This sparked Finians into gear with Senan Crosbie coming into the game 5 minutes into second half for his debut kicking 2 big points from play. Finians then took control and put a few unanswered points on the board and lead to Finians seeing out a 7 point win.

There was good performances in the back line from Davey butler kicking 3 from play, Jack Dempsey who is becoming a big leader for the team with his runs forward. James Sullivan was his composed self controlling the back 6.

Adam McGuirk had another good game in the middle of the field. While James Doyle and Brandon Caffrey showed well in the forward line. The squad is now starting to come together after injuries and the bench was key, James Donnelly didn’t put a foot wrong as he came in for last 15 minutes.
