Our Adult Ladies Football team went into their Junior D Championship semi-final against Ballymun Kickhams knowing a win would mean a first-ever championship final spot for a St. Finians Adult Ladies football team.

Rather than that expectation being a burden, it proved the opposite as from the moment the ball was thrown in they took the game by the scruff of the neck and never let go!

In what was a fantastic performance from all 20 players who featured and backboned by a hungry squad all fighting for places every week these players now have a county final to look forward to and prepare for next Wednesday in Ridgewood at 7 pm.

In what turned out to be a display in defensive & attacking football each line gave a superb account of themselves. For this squad now there's no time to dwell on this semi-final display but use this performance as a catalyst for Wednesday evening's final.

All support will be needed and all club colours out on display to help bring the cup home 👊🏆
